Article 1 (Definitions)

Kotori Bounce! (hereinafter referred to as “This Application”, “Games” or “The Game”) and the services related to This Application (hereinafter also referred to as “This Service” or “Service”) is an application provided by PVP Co., Ltd. (+ SHIFT Shiba Daimon, 2-1-16 Shiba Daimon, Minato-ku, Tokyo, Japan - Representative Director Keiichi Ishida, hereinafter referred to as “The Company”, “we”, or “us”). This Application’s Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as “Privacy Policy”) stipulates the handling of information acquired.

Article 2 (Compliance with Laws and Regulations)

This Application and This Service comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Japan), the Telecommunications Business Act (Japan), Japanese related laws and regulations, guidelines, the European General Data Protection Regulation laws, the The Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography And Marketing Act, and this Privacy Policy regarding the acquisition, use, and other handling of information. Article 3 (Security Management Measures)

We strive to keep the information handled by This Application and This Service accurate and up-to-date, and take necessary, appropriate, and commercially reasonable measures to protect them from unauthorized access, falsification, leakage, loss, and damage. We will take the following safety management measures.

  • Measure (1) Formulation of basic policy

    In order to ensure the proper handling of personal data held by us, we have established a "Personal Information Protection Policy" that covers "compliance with relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, etc." and "contact point for questions and complaints."

  • Measure (2) Establishment of regulations regarding the handling of retained personal data

    We have established personal information protection regulations that stipulate how personal data held by us will be handled, who will be responsible and who will play their roles, etc., at each stage of the process, such as acquisition, use, storage, provision, deletion, and disposal.

  • Measure (3) Organizational security control measures

    ① We have appointed a person in charge of handling retained personal data, clarified the employees who handle retained personal data and the scope of retained personal data handled by said employees, and established a reporting and contact system to the person in charge in the event of finding facts or signs of violation of laws or handling regulations.

    ② We regularly conduct self-inspections regarding the handling status of retained personal data, and conduct audits by other departments and external parties.

  • Measures (4) Personnel safety management measures

    ① We provide regular training to employees regarding important points regarding handling of retained personal data.

    ② All employees have submitted written pledges regarding confidentiality, including personal data held.

  • Measures (5) Physical safety control measures

    ① In areas where retained personal data is handled, we control the entry and exit of employees, restrict the devices they bring in, and take measures to prevent unauthorized persons from viewing retained personal data.

    ② We take measures to prevent theft or loss of devices, electronic media, documents, etc. that handle retained personal data, and take measures to prevent retained personal data from being easily identified when such devices, electronic media, etc. are carried, including when moving around the workplace.

  • Measures (6) Technical safety control measures

    ① We implement access control to limit the persons in charge and the scope of the personal information database, etc. that they handle.

    ② We have introduced a mechanism to protect information systems that handle retained personal data from unauthorized external access or software.

Article 4 (Data Management)

Article 4-1 (Information Items Collected, Purpose of Use, and Methods of Collection)

When using This Application and This Service, the following information is automatically collected via the application for the following purposes:

Article 4-1-1 Personal information of customers handled by our company

  • To perform our contract with you, we may process your data as necessary to:
    • create and maintain an account for you in our Games where applicable,
    • enable you to play our Games,
    • provide the correct version of our Game to you (for example, by selecting an appropriate language version for you),
    • verify and fulfill your purchases or other transactions in our Games.
  • Based on our legitimate interest to make our Services the best they can be, we may process your data to:
    • operate and maintain our Services (for example, by making sure our Services are secure and function as intended)
    • troubleshoot or debug any bugs, errors, or other issues in our Services,
    • conduct surveys or other research to learn more about our users,
  • Based on our legitimate interest to make sure you have the best possible user experience in our Games, we may process your data to:
    • where available, enable your gameplay across multiple devices (for example, by allowing you to connect a third-party account with our Games for that purpose),
  • Based on our legitimate interest to provide you with relevant ads in our Games and to fund our Services so that we can keep providing them to you, we may process your data to:
    • show ads to you in our Games from our advertising partners
  • To enable cross-platform gameplay and sync your progress and purchases across devices, we use Unity Cloud to store and manage user data.
    • This data includes game progress, in-app purchases, and other necessary information to ensure a seamless experience across multiple devices.
  • Cookies and Tracking:
    • This Application does not use cookies or tracking technologies for data collection. However, Unity Cloud may collect information automatically to facilitate the synchronization of your game progress and purchases.

Article 4-1-2 Where do we collect our data from?

We may collect data relating to you from the following sources:

  • directly from you when you submit it to us (for example, when registering an account with us, sending support enquiries to us, or responding to our surveys),
  • directly from you and/or your device by automatic means when you use our Services or interact with our ads outside of our Services (for example, on third-party websites or applications)
  • if you make purchases in our Games, from the third-party payment service provider involved in those transactions,

Google, Unity Cloud, and other third parties may collect information for specific purposes related to their respective functionalities within the Application. For instance, Google AdMob collects data to display personalized advertisements, while Unity Cloud collects data to manage backend services such as syncing user purchases and game progress.

While we may access certain information stored in Unity Cloud for managing user data or troubleshooting purposes, we do not have direct access to the information collected by Google AdMob. The additional information gathered by these third parties is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms of service.

Furthermore, platforms such as Apple or Google may also collect information through their app stores or associated services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of all third parties to understand how they collect, use, and safeguard your information.

Article 4-2 Information we collect

When you access and use our Services, we may collect information you submit to us or through the Services, for example when creating an account, or contacting us for support. Our advertising partner Google may also automatically collect information about your use of the Services and the device you use to access the Services, including identifiers such as an Advertising ID.

Article 4-2-1 Personal Data

We may process the following personal data relating to you:

  • your name, email address, or other contact information if you have provided them to us (for example, when creating an account with us or contacting us for support),
  • if you choose to connect a third-party account (for example, a Google or Apple account) with our Services, information we receive from the third-party account provider (for example, an account name, identifier, or email address to enable cross-device gameplay or a profile name, or picture),

Article 4-2-2 Non-personal Data

We may process the following non-personal data relating to you:

  • if you make purchases in our Service, information we receive from third-party payment service providers to validate those purchases (note that we do not receive your credit card or other payment method information when you make purchases in our Services),
  • information about your choices regarding your data (for example, any consents you may have given or withdrawn),
  • information about your use of the Services (for example, information about your progress or purchases in our Games or other Services, your use of an account you have with us),

Article 5 (Publication of Consent)

  • Please use This Application and This Service only after reviewing and fully understanding this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy is displayed at the point where This Application is downloaded, and this display constitutes a public announcement of the policy. Users are asked to review this Privacy Policy when installing This Application.
  • By using This Application, you are considered to have consented to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Article 6 (Third Party Providers)

  • As noted in Article 4-1, Google or other third parties, including Unity Cloud, may collect information for the purpose of displaying advertisements through Google AdMob or managing backend services like game progress and user purchases through Unity Cloud. This information is managed in accordance with the privacy policies and terms of use of these third parties.
  • This Application may display links to third-party websites or services, including those related to advertisements provided by third-party ad networks. These links are provided for your convenience and may direct you to external sites or services not operated by our company.

      • Advertisements: The advertisements displayed within This Application may contain links to external websites or services that are beyond our control. These links may direct you to sites that provide third-party products, services, or other content.
      • Content and Privacy Practices: We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or security of third-party websites or services. Even if links to such sites are displayed within This Application, we provide no guarantees or assume any responsibility for the content of those sites.
    • User Responsibility
      • Review Privacy Policies: Please review the privacy policies of third-party websites or services accessible through links displayed within This Application, including Unity Cloud Services used for storing game progress and purchases.
      • Awareness of Risks: By clicking on third-party links, you may be directed to websites with privacy practices and data collection methods different from our own Privacy Policy.
  • In order to enhance the functionality of This Application and provide seamless cross-platform gameplay, we utilize Unity Cloud Services for backend data management, including syncing game progress, and enabling advanced features. Unity Cloud Services has been verified to comply with our Application Privacy Policy, and we periodically review our agreements with Unity Technologies to ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. However, we cannot guarantee the security or practices of third-party services after data is shared.


    The following outlines the information collected and used by Unity Cloud Services: This Application uses Unity Cloud Services for backend data management, including syncing game progress and user purchases. Unity Cloud would collect user information as part of this service.

      • User Progress Data: Game progress, levels completed, scores, and in-app purchases.
      • Purchase Data: Information about in-app purchases, such as purchase history, items purchased, and transaction IDs.
      • Device Information: Device type, operating system, and unique identifiers for cross-platform sync.

Article 7 (Information Collection - Modules/SDKs)

In order to provide This Service for free, the following advertising distributors, which have been verified to comply with our Application Privacy Policy, automatically collect user information for the purpose of advertising distribution.

We periodically review contracts with third-party advertising partners to ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. However, we cannot guarantee the security or practices of third-party services after data is shared.

        • Approximate location based on IP address or device settings (if location permissions are granted)
      • Unique Identifiers:
        • Advertising ID (such as Google Advertising ID or Apple's IDFA)
        • Device ID
      • Personal Information:
        • While The Company does not directly collect or share personal information for advertising purposes, some information collected by ad networks may be considered personal under certain jurisdictions.
        • We do not have direct access to the data collected by Google AdMob or other third-party services. The use of this information is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms of service. We encourage you to review Google AdMob's privacy policy to understand how they handle your information.
      • Your Choices:
        • You can opt-out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings or using industry-standard opt-out tools. Please check the official steps provided by Google in their Help Center.
      • Children's Privacy:
        • We do not knowingly collect or allow third-party advertising services to collect information from users under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).
      • Data Retention:
        • Advertising data is typically retained by ad networks for a limited time to improve ad targeting and performance analysis. Refer to Google AdMob's privacy policy for specific retention periods.
      • International Data Transfers:
        • Information collected by ad networks may be transferred and processed in countries other than your own. These countries may have different data protection laws.

Article 8 (Termination of Service and Handling of Information)

You have a number of rights to your data under applicable laws and regulations. If we are processing your data, you may ask to use these rights. For example, you may ask to access your data, or to request its deletion. Please contact us at kotori-bounce-support@pvp.co.jp.

  • If we are processing your data, you have the right to:
    • access, correct, or request the deletion of your data
  • When the user deletes (uninstalls) This Application from their device using the delete (uninstall) function, all user information obtained and stored from the user will be immediately deleted from the device.
  • The Company does not directly collect, store, or manage user personal data. Therefore, there is no additional data deletion process on our part.
  • Data collected by third-parties will be managed in accordance with the privacy policies of those third parties.

Article 9: Links to Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

Article 10 (Disclosure and Provision of Information)

The Company will not disclose or provide information acquired and stored from users through This Application and This Service to third parties, other than those specified in this privacy policy, without obtaining the consent of the users. However, the following cases are excluded.

  • When based on laws and regulations.
  • When it is necessary to protect a person's life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person.
  • When cooperation with a national government agency, local government, or an entity commissioned by them is required by law, and obtaining the individual's consent would be likely to impede the performance of that purpose.
